In the past few years, we’ve seen a lot of change in America. With all this change, it’s hard to keep up with what is going on and be informed about our country. However, there are some things that remain constant: the need for an open mind to new ideas and people; someone who will stand up for those who can’t do it themselves; someone who refuses to live in fear. These qualities will always matter because they’re the essence of what makes America great —no matter how much time has passed.
Where do you believe you can make a difference and why should it matter that your ideas are the ones to follow? These are the questions we must ask ourselves because the truth is, we all know that things must be better than they are now! It is what has driven creativity and innovation for thousands of years. We now live in a time when more opportunities are available to speak our truths and make that difference for those that don’t have the wherewithal to do what they can.
What fires you up in the morning? which dissonance in your life bothers you the most that you are ready to recalibrate into harmony. Let us be careful in pointing the finger at presumed injustices in the world with name-calling and false narratives.
Like Gandhi said: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
