Dr. Rab Razzak
Dr. Rab Razzak is a Palliative Medicine physician leader and clinician educator at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University, social justice advocate, and an amateur comedian.
After obtaining his medical degree from Bangladesh Medical College, he completed internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine Program at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He worked as an internal medicine hospitalist prior to transitioning to palliative medicine. He has led some palliative medicine initiatives and programs at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Johns Hopkins ARAMCO Healthcare in Saudi Arabia, prior to his arrival in Cleveland. He enjoys developing palliative care delivery systems, education, mentoring, and helping colleagues and learners cope with caring for those with serious illnesses. Rab is married and has two children.
